My Doorbell Is Functioning Properly
Has it ever happened to you to go visit a friend and stand in front of his/her door, although you knew there was someone at home? Obviously, the person inside couldn't hear you, and after he/she sees you doing desperate signs at the window, finally opens the door and starts apologizing: "My doorbell isn't working, I'm sorry". You go back home and the first thing that comes to mind is asking yourself: "Is my doorbell functioning properly?" Of course, if you have previously checked it, you won't be surprised to see that it does, but what happens if it doesn't? You will find yourself in the same situation as your friend did, and as you don't want that, you cannot help but thinking: "I'll change my doorbell". The first thing to decide is what type of doorbell you will install. Usually, is harder to choose the style and color, shape or design, until you can really say "this is my doorbell", than actually placing it. If you manage to do that in a rather short time, things get easier. All is left is to install it on you door and you're done. It is important to know that you can do that in two different ways. You can either place a wireless doorbell, that functions on batteries, and transmits a signal to an inside receptor each time someone pushes the button, or an electric wired doorbell, which takes longer to install, but is safer. The whole process of changing an old doorbell with a new one should not take more than 1.5 hours, even for non professional installers. Once you've done that, you will finally be able to say, "Don't worry, I'll surely open the door when you came visit me, my doorbell is functioning properly."
